Are you putting in the work on Instagram but not seeing the money come through?
I was doing the same thing. I would post a super cute picture up of a product that I was selling and would wait for the money to come in, but it didn’t.
I posted a little bit about this on my Instagram over the weekend (@beautyoftheboss) and you guys messaged me about how helpful it was to you and your beauty business- so let’s dive in a little deeper.
Detach Yourself from YOUR Emotions
You are super excited about how pretty this product is or what it has done for you. That’s good! Your excitement is important, but what’s more important is the emotions your customer is feeling. Are they self-conscious about their under-eye circles? Are they embarrassed because of their acne? Are they frustrated because they don’t have enough time to get ready in the morning but still want to feel confident during the day? These emotions have nothing to do with you and everything to do with them!
Understand Their Need and Show the Value
Your customer has been staring at her darkening under-eye circles in the mirror for weeks and is feeling self-conscious. Talk about that situation and feeling in your post! Show her you know how that feels and how your product changed that for you. Show her the value in the product and how it will give her the solution she’s been searching for (whether she knows it or not). Not only is she relating to you in your post, you’re showing her how to solve her problem (aka value).
